Jackson Felix Tutoring

I am a recent graduate of the University of Kansas History Department and this year I have begun my career in education. I have been working as a substitute teacher and have been entrusted with a long-term assignment for 8th grade math and Spanish. As a recent college graduate, knowledge of math and social sciences are fresh in my head still and I know the good habits and practices that make great students. I am great at connecting with and motivating young students and I am eager for the opportunity to make a positive impact on kids and my community. I will work with both the student and their parents/guardians to develop a plan that suits the needs and learning style of the student best. My goal as an educator is to help students see academic improvement, but also to instill a passion for learning and a greater confidence in their own abilities.
