About
I focus on making essays that are not the standard five-paragraph paper. I promote papers that show originality and innovation.
I enjoy playing with the English language and meeting other student writers who are eager to learn.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a general backstory or a few bullet points about the main thesis/argument/point of the project. I try to keep my sessions as informative and worthwhile as possible. Your opinions and concerns matter to me and I will make sure that they are met throughout our session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a pre-med Biology major with an English minor. I have taken two honors English writing courses and am a writing tutor at my university. Even though I am an undergraduate and do not provide the same level of knowledge as an English professor, I have a more recent understanding of what it's like to be a student and can relate to my clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since I am an undergraduate and do not have a degree, my standard price is $30 an hour, depending on the student's project content and education level.
How did you get started teaching?
I have enjoyed teaching since I was a little girl. My younger sister was my first pupil. Everyday after school, my sister and I would rush upstairs to my bedroom and I would pull out a mini chalkboard and teach her everything I had learned at school that day. My love of teaching blossomed as I entered college and became a writing tutor and shared my passion with my peers.
