I love English Language Arts, and I have been practicing my writing for 6 years. I am a local high school student, and I teach essay writing, persuasive writing, creative writing, fiction writing, grammar, and spelling. I believe in approaching each student with individuality, specific to his/her/their needs. My rates are $15 per hour.
I have always enjoyed writing, especially essays. I am very passionate about this subject and love to help others with their strength and overall mindset.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first start by asking what their needing support with. Then working on that subject/piece and help them understand the concepts of what they are writing.

What types of students have you worked with?
Younger children, elementary students and middle school students. I have hands on experience with all levels up to 9th grade.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is passionate about their work and teaching. Someone you are comfortable with, who can teach you what you are here for.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think the main questions would be "What am I struggling with?" "What don't I understand?" Really grasp what you are trying to get out of a tutoring session for your own benefit.
