Allison Lee

Hey there! My name is Allison, and I'm excited to start working with you! I'm an Ivy League graduate (University of Pennsylvania) and I've been tutoring students for more than two years. I love helping students with math and science especially, but I'm up for just about any subject. If there's an answer I don't know off the top of my head, we'll figure it out together!

I approach tutoring sessions by first understanding how you learn best; do you like seeing an example before trying something or do you need a more hands on approach? I'll flex to what works for you. The answers to your homework are important, but it's more important to understand WHY those are the answers. We'll talk a lot about problem solving skills and general test-taking strategies, and I hope you'll walk away with the skills to solve problems creatively and effectively moving forward.

In my free time, I like hiking, playing video games, and spending time with my husband, two cats, and dog. Pets are always welcome in my tutoring sessions!
