I have a B.S. in Business Administration and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law.

Heather is an amazing tutor who goes far beyond to insure students learn and are successful. She has been helping me build my mathematical foundation for several years. I started in math 060 and now have completed classes like, college algebra, trig., calc 1-3, differential equations, electromagnetic fields and will graduate with a BS Electrical Enginering Technology Power and Controls in 15 weeks!! You can do it if you believe in yourself and work hard.

Heather is an excellent math professor. She is extremely patient, knowledgeable and took the time to get to know me and how I learn. She was there for me whenever I needed her always going above and beyond to do what she could to help me succeed. She not only taught me material in the classroom, but then as a tutor helping me study for college math exams that I was nervous about. I highly recommend Heather as a tutor for any age group from adolescence to college level mathematics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, the student tells me what he/she needs to be more successful in their class: sometimes their confidence is low, they have test anxiety, or they just don't understand the material. We then brainstorm solutions and start working!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taught/tutored middle school, high school, and community college math from the basics through Algebra 2.
