About
With my international teaching experience (USA, Honduras, and Brazil) of a diverse student population grades 3-8, I know what it takes to build relationships and provide world-class learning support. For the completion of my Master of Arts in Teaching degree, my research thesis addressed strategies to support English Language Learners (ELL) in an inclusion classroom.
I am constantly marked as a professional in the workplace while exercising collaboration, interpersonal, and analytic skills in contribution to team efforts and school improvements. I stay open-minded and focused on new developments in education.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is a conversation to discover the student's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6 years of experience teaching English/Language Arts (grades 3-8). I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from National Louis University. My thesis report addressed the best strategies to teach English Language Learners in an inclusive classroom.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from all over the world. I started teaching in a prominent suburb of Chicago with a more affluent demographic of students. Then I moved to teach at a public school in Denver, CO. Denver was amazing, but I wanted to expand my horizons so I moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras where I taught at a private American school. Afterward, I taught at a private Jewish school in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After facing hardships from the pandemic, I decided to move back to the US which leads me to my current position as an English/Social Studies teacher in Naperville, IL.
