Hi! I'm Addi, a homeschooled senior with a strong academic background, maintaining a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I've successfully completed all my coursework in English, Math, Science, and History at the Honors or A.P. level. I'm passionate about learning and enjoy helping younger ones understand challenging concepts! I believe that everyone has the potential to succeed, and I'm excited to share my knowledge and support to students in their academic journey!
I charge 23 per lesson for one-on-one tutoring sessions. For families who commit to two or more weekly sessions, I offer a discounted rate of 20 per hour!
Regarding Math:
I specialize in tutoring elementary to middle school math, including some pre-algebra. My focus is on building a strong foundation and helping students develop a deep understanding of math concepts. I utilize a digital whiteboard to visually guide students through each step, allowing for clear explanations and interactive problem-solving. I work closely with students to identify and overcome their individual struggles, building confidence and a love for math!
Regarding Reading, Spelling, and Grammar:
Learning should be fun and engaging! Especially for young kids. I incorporate a variety of games and interactive activities into my lessons to make reading and writing enjoyable for young children. We might play word games, have some fun with animal pictures, or create stories together! These approaches help kids develop essential skills like problem solving and just overall creativity!
Cancellation:
Please provide at least a 24 hours' notice for any cancellations. A cancellation fee equal to the full session price will be applied for cancellations received within 24 hours of the scheduled tutoring session.
