What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will complete a skills assessment in the area of study to assess areas of strengths and areas to work together for improvement. Next, a weekly schedule for tutoring and outside practice will be developed together, customized for the desired outcome and schedule of each student.

The first lesson is free, then $25/hour for instruction.
Full college applicant readiness assessments are available at $250, with a report produced indicating likelihood of acceptance to desired schools, resume, and essay feedback, and customized planning to get into desired schools.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been passionate about providing education. Coming from a family of teachers and principals, I have been volunteering in schools and tutoring elementary, middle, and high schools students since childhood.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who is dedicated to customizing learning to your needs and comfort. A catchall learning program will leave many students behind. Also, individual instruction will be more valuable that group instruction.
