About
I take pride in my work and I care for my students. I want to see my students succeed and love to see them do so.
I love to see students who are struggling learn to love the subject they thought they hated. I believe the connections that students make with educators is valuable not only in their educational career, but in their success in life.

I have a BA in English Literature from Colorado State University. I also have multiple years of experience tutoring professionally at Mathnasium Fort Collins. I specialized in elementary math tutoring and have multiple years in private English tutoring.

My rate is $45 an hour for one student or $75 an hour total to work with two students at once.
My rate for college essay editing is $10 a page.
How did you get started teaching?
I started my teaching career in high school where I put on classes for the local elementary school at our school farm. These classes focused on agriculture. When I moved to Colorado, I studied English Education and Liturature at Colorado State University and was a lead tutor at Mathnasium Fort Collins.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from elementary age to college age. I have worked with all proficiency levels as well as with students who have autism.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should consider how much time they can realistically put into tutoring. Tutoring is a commitment for both the tutor and the students. I find that students are more successful when they are included in the decision making when creating lessons, goals, and timelines.
