Mr. Jackson Explains

My name is Nicholas Jackson. I have been an educator for over 13 years. I've taught in large classrooms with over 30 students, online to an audience of HUNDREDS of students simultaneously during COVID lockdowns, and have taught students one-on-one from elementary age through college.

Since I've worked one-on-one with such a diverse group of learners, I am quick to determine your student's best learning style and leverage their strengths to solidify complicated concepts. I make learning enjoyable and fun by bringing myself to a mutual respect and rapport with students, as they are more apt to learn if they feel safe, heard, and respected.

My favorite moments are when I can finally prove to my students that they are not "bad at math", and their confidence level soars!
