Math Tutoring

I taught Middle School math for 4 years, and have tutored in math for an additional 6 years. I specialize in basic math skills, leading up to algebra and geometry.

I have been able to help students who come to me stating they are not good at math and they don't like it, to become top students, some who have gone on to become engineers and scientists.

For many students, the problem they have with math originates in elementary school, where if they don't get the basics, math becomes difficult for them and very frustrating.

I also understand from my own children that sometimes students find it difficult to learn from their own parents, but having someone they can relate to can make learning new skillls easier and more enjoyable.
