Stacey has tutored my 5 yo son this year for kindergarten prep and started my 3 yo son with preschool lessons. She is full of love, patience and a variety of teaching skills, which is a winning combination for the learning environment. It is obvious she is a mother herself and that she enjoys teaching. We loved having Ms. Horton as our tutor for our 5 year old daughter. She was extremely kind and patient with her and got her excited about learning. With her years of experience, Ms. Horton was able to develop a program that worked perfectly for our daughter and where she needed help with reading. I would highly recommend!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do a beginning assessment to see where they are struggling and how I can best help them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors and master's degree in elementary education. I've taught preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade for the last 16 years. I'm currently a Kindergarten teacher at SVVSD.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 an hour or $30 for half hour
