Hello!
My name is Ari and I have been teaching in various capacities for over a decade. I have taught in both the public and private school systems. I am certified in K-6, Social Studies K-12, and Spanish K-12 but feel comfortable in many areas. Having experience in experiential education, SPED, TAG, ESL, standardized testing, and more, I have a weath of experience.
My teaching philosphoy is that learning needs to be engaging, relevant, and hands on as much as possible. I want my students to work hard and have fun at the same time.
I have a great ability to connect with my students and find creative ways to engage them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Relationship building is key for teacher-student interactions. I will always start sessions by getting to know my student by some low-stakes games and activities. This helps me to begin to get insights into how they work and learn. Knowing some of their interests and goals helps me uniquley shape how I will work with them.
