About
Let's face it, math is hard! Humans were not designed to do the math and if we had been made that way, we wouldn't need to teach it in schools for so many years!
My goal is to help you achieve your goals and give you the skills and intuition that you need to learn better in the future. In Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, and Physics, there are universal concepts that once grasped are, at once, applicable to all.
The most important part of tutoring is to understand the perspective of the student being tutored. I have seen many well-intentioned tutors in the past that have been unable to explain themselves effectively. This is because one cannot progress in their understanding if their teacher is not teaching at exactly their level. Too complicated and the student will be lost and unable to follow. Too simple and time is wasted on things that the student already understands. I strive to understand my student's point of view so that I can most effectively help them!
