I graduated from Princeton University in 2017 with a degree in History, and completed a 110-page senior thesis alongside dozens of other top-tier writing assignments. My writing philosophy centers on two skills that I seek to impart to every student: passion and discipline. Without true passion for the subject at hand, writing is just another chore. Without the discipline to set aside time and space for writing, your results and progress will be lackluster. I coach each student through setting a personal writing plan that commits them to their goals, and we begin each assignment by connecting the subject matter to an area of your interest. Writing can be fun, productive, and effective when you set yourself up to succeed!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There is no typical process at InkWell Academy, because I've found that there is no typical student. That's why our first consultation is free: to assess your skill level and needs so that we can create a personalized training plan just for you. However, no matter whether you are looking for SAT tutoring, college essay support, or even public speaking coaching, we will always be focusing on how to express yourself beautifully in the English language and have fun while doing so.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2017, I graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Global History. As the nation's #1-ranked college, Princeton has a notorious reputation for its intensive writing standards. To complete my degree, I authored a 110-page thesis and received an A grade. This meant working hand-in-hand with a professor for over a year to produce an original contribution to global history. By completing this and other challenges at Princeton, I became well-acquainted with each step of the writing process. I look forward to teaching you, your son, or your daughter all that I have learned about writing with passion, flair, and excellence.

Our first call is always FREE so that we can make sure working with InkWell is right for your family. After that, all of our services are assessed at the base rate of $60/hr. However, there are several ways to get a discount:
- 90 Minute Session: $80 ($10 savings)
- 10-Session Value Pack: $500 ($100 savings)

How did you get started teaching?
After graduating from college I worked for a tutoring service for elite students in NYC/NJ prep schools. What I quickly realized was that tutoring companies are severely over-charging families, and then paying their tutors less than 50% per lesson. I founded InkWell Academy to bring you the same services offered by elite tutoring services for a fraction of the price. Our business is committed to delivering excellent learning outcomes for excellent prices.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I expanded the scope of my business again when a new customer asked if I could teach English as a second language to his family members from another country. It turns out that offering one-on-one tutoring services to new English learners is both rewarding and fun, and allows new English speakers to progress much faster than group classes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
