I love helping students learn new content and watching them as they grasp new concepts. I tutored in high school and have done a couple of tutoring gigs in college as well and I love it. I am committed to helping students learn in a fun and engaging way.
I am an English Education major so I have experience in my subject and know the proper ways to teach as well. I made the Dean's List in Fall 2017 and have received writing awards throughout my high school career.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I learn what they want to get from the tutoring experience and what kind of teaching style they prefer as well as what their interests are. Once I have that, I gear my teaching towards what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an education major so I have taken classes where we have discussed the teaching styles and how to apply them to different students. I also have past experience tutoring others and have been told I have a good style when doing it.
