The way I teach is very interactive. I am patient and I understand the difficulty of grasping new material. I have tutored at my college, and the kids around my area. I've been there before, I have been in a chair pulling my own hair out, stressed because I thought that I was never going to grasp the material. That was when I noticed that it was not the material itself, it was how it was being taught. My mission is to help you learn as much as you can and to make it as interactive as I possibly can because afterall it is not what is being taught, it is how it is being taught.
I love seeing my student's face light up when they finally understand their homework or have them tell me that their writing has improved. It is a heartwarming feeling knowing that I am helping them understand the fact that school is not something they should dread or be afraid of, its something that's interesting and maybe even fun at times because they are slowly begin to understand the world around them. All they need is the right guidance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will see what they are having problems with, I'll help them with homework and add an extra 20 minuites to the session (free of charge) to do some exercises I plan, answer any questions they have regarding study habits or help with any other homework related questions they have on any subject.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 a session, 60 min max. But then I also add on a free 20 minuite session at the end of each lesson for any questions, I'm also on call Mon-Sat just just in case the student has any homework questions they can send me a text and I will try to answer as soon as I can. I sadly can't take phone calls due to my busy scheduleing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started with my little niece, I found that most people would often get frustrated because she couldn't understand the material easily. I then decided to take on the role of her tutor and I still to this day help her with her homework and she absorbs the material alot easier when I help her. She was the first child I ever tutored and after that I began to tutor more kids, from elementary all the way up to college undergraduates.
