Valeria Rivera

Hello! I'm currently a sophomore at the University of California, Santa Barbara, double majoring in Statistics and Data Science, and Economics. During my senior year of high school, I volunteered as a tutor, helping students with Statistics and Science. I always make sure to meet the student's at their comfort level with the subject, and adjust to their desired pace of explanations. I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker, having studied Spanish throughout all four years of high school and graduating with the Seal of Biliteracy. I'm happy to support Spanish-speaking students in their learning as well! My goal as a tutor is to build confidence, help students grow, and foster a deeper understanding of the material.
