About this tutor

My service may not stand out that much but I have the patience for every type of student. We can have fun yet learn at the same time for them.

The expression and joy bring about my students after they figure out they understand the problem or subject themselves without help.

I had the most fun time with her teachings. She taught me math before she joined this site. I'm glad she is making more cash.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

To see where they are at. What are their weaknesses, strong points, and which subjects they understand. Another way is to teach them a new study strategy or improve their old ones.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a 10th-grade high school student. Receive honor roll 6-7 times in a row. Pleased in helping others.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

1- 4th-grade_ For 30mins it is $15. 15mins are half the price. An hour is $30.

5 - 6th-grade_ For 30mins it is $20. 15 mins are half the price. An hour is $40

7 - 8th-grade_ For 30mins it is $25. 15mins are half the price. An hour is $50

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with my younger brothers, ages 11 and 13 years old. They have learned math skills with me and loved being my teachings. I also have worked with my younger cousins and other close relatives.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Teaching my brother how to multiply using shapes as a child. His mind went into wonders because he learned so much.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Talk and make sure they know what they are doing teaching you. To reach out to them about what you need help with for they can prepare for the lesson. To make a schedule you and your teacher can work together.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

-Is this the right option for me right now?

- Do they know what they are talking about?

- Had they prepared to teach me about my needs for a subject or course?

-Is their price range too high or too low?

- Can I afford them?

- How many people have they taught and can I trust them teaching me?
