Mike's Math
About
Hi there! My name is Mike, and I'm in 10th grade. I teach many subjects of all kinds! I also teach things not taught in school, like video game development!
My service stands out compare to other services due to a closer connection I may have to students compared to other tutors. As a student myself, I am able to tutor students from a successful student's perspective, rather than an adult's perspective. This also makes sessions more entertaining for students, as I have noticed in the many classes I have taught.
I enjoy teaching younger students, because I love to pass my knowledge on to the younger students, and guide them through their school year, providing them with help and extra knowledge. I love to see those whom I've helped succeed, and I love to see younger students grow as they learn more and more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My services depend lots of student requests! Whatever a student wants to learn or focus on, I will assist them in doing so and at a much more accelerated rate. Other than this, I am also great at teaching new information to students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a hardworking studnet, I constantly challenge myself beyond my school's expectations. Through this, I am training myself to be capable of all types of academic problems or areas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing system is fairly good compared to many teachers and tutors out there. My pricing is $10/half hour, and seven extra dollars for each additional 30 minutes. The payment should be transferred through paypal. Payment should be transferred at the beginning of the month, and the payment will be refunded partially (70%) based on how many classes is missed. Please note that refund will not be available if the student decides to quit in the middle of a month.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching years ago, when my neighbor wanted me to tutor his son, I gladly accepted it. Afterwards, I started tutoring more younger students, and enjoyed it as I went. I've tutored students of all ages from all types of schools.
