About
Hey everyone! I am excited to announce that I've been named "BEST of Tutors.com" since 2018, an honor given to less than 5% of tutors.
I am an energetic new college grad with a passion for helping others love learning, even in difficult subjects!
About me: I studied biochemistry, business, and spanish in college, but STEM classes are my powerhouse. I have 11+ years of classical music training and am fascinated by language, history, and social studies. I spent my summers teaching English to ESL students abroad, so I have coached many students to English fluency!
College Readiness: I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and ACT, and on many AP tests. I'm intimately familiar with scholarship and college applications as well, receiving $800K in scholarship funding from many top 20 schools. I offer application reviews and consultations, and will work with you to get into your dream school!
Tutoring is amazing! I love helping students grow intellectually and witnessing their pride in accomplishment. There's something amazing about learning to love a subject you once struggled with!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I adapt to a student's learning needs and address specific struggles they have with the material. My goal is for students to have a positive learning experience that will encourage them through all their future academic pursuits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've always had a passion for teaching. It's such an enjoyable experience being able to help students through their frustration. I've now tutored hundreds of hours and worked with 3 formal tutoring companies.
I joined an English tutoring program in high school, and taught science summer camps. In college, I became a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, and taught English briefly in South America. I have been tutoring since 2017.

Rates depend on the course level and if we're online or in-person. They are more flexible with students taking recurring lessons.
~$35/hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of ages, from 8 to adult. I am experienced in working to overcome learning challenges- in ESL students with a language barrier or with learning difficulties such as Autism.
