My name is Clara. I have been tutoring for over a decade and have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics. As much as I adore math, my favorite thing about tutoring is that 'aha' moment, where everything finally clicks into place for them.
I have expierence in private tutoring as well as small group tutoring sessions. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my education and qualifications.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically with have a short discussion with the parents to see where they believe their child is having difficulties. Then I will talk with the student and see where they believe they are having issues. I will do a small assessment to see where they are and then as a group (student and parents) we can discuss how we will proceed with sessions, whether they would like to focus on homework or study materials and tricks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences as well as over a decade as a private tutor.
