Math Tutoring

I have been teaching and mentoring students for over 12 years, starting in high school, and continuing into college. Since then I have worked in the education system in all sorts of ways. I was a teacher for a company that specializes in helping students with learning disabilities reach grade level and excel in math, reading, and reading comprehension. That's where I learned patented techniques that are proven to help students learn more efficiently in a shorter amount of time. I used these techniques to teach my 4 year old son how to read and he was reading chapter books before kindergarten! For the past 4 years I have been a substitute teacher for K-12, meaning I can teach any subject up to the high school level, whether it is English, math, history or science; you just have to give me your question or prompt. I took and passed almost every AP course my high school had to offer, so I am well versed with rigorous subjects and the dedication they require. And I can teach every math course up to calculus.

I have worked with such a diverse range of students over the years that I have learned every trick in the book for helping you succeed. I know that no matter what a student's current understanding of a subject, the ability of the teacher to gauge this understanding and convey the information in an effective and enjoyable way makes the greatest difference in whether or not successful learning takes place. I can tell within a few minutes if the information I present is not being understood by my students and I will not rest until they are completely ready to move on. I am proud that I am always able to make students understand the subject I am teaching, usually with minimal effort, simply from all the experience I have gained over the years.
