What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know the student interests and where they have troubles. Then, I ask them their goals and what can I do to help reach their goal. Based on the response, I will build a specific plan for the student and change/modify it as I see fit. Also if possible talk to the teacher to see how I can help her.
