About
I have varied experiences working with children. I am currently in my 13th year of teaching high school mathematics, and have taught Basic Math through AP Calculus. I have also tutored various levels of math, from Elementary School students through college students taking Multivariable Calculus. I truly enjoy working with students and having the opportunity to see them persevere through the problem solving process and be able to have that Aha! moment.
I can hold tutoring sessions via Zoom or in person.
I enjoy building a positive and trusting relationship with my students, so that they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and to try different approaches.

I like to get to know the student, and assess what their current level of understanding is, as well as get a feel for what type of learning styles they prefer.
