Hey there. I decided to tutor because I love it when I help kids get that lightbulb moment in their studies. I love to see people advance and go on to greater things.
I've been tutoring for around 2 years. I used to tutor in my highschool's library and now I work out of The Agoura Library or The Calabasas Library.
- I have a highschool diploma from Agoura High School. I am currently enrolled in Moorpark College. I have finished Pre-Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, and Statistics with high grades.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
This depends on the goals of the parents/guardian. Everyone has their own customized plan to help them out. Different people learn at different paces and in different ways.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a full time student at Moorpark College and I received my high school diploma from Agoura High School. I have been tutoring students for around 2 years now and I love seeing people grow due to my help.

I generally charge between $18-20 depending on the level of math.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring Math + Science in my sophomore year of high school because people told me that I explained things really well. I helped many excel in Math and Science and still do today.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students you could possibly encounter in High School.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was tutoring this one kid who was completely unconfident about his skills and had very poor grades in Math. I loved this process of tutoring him because I felt that every session I had with him I was building him up more and more. Now we see each other so I can track his progress but he's developed very nicely and he's a lot happier now with himself.
