Premier Academy

Premier Academy, founded in 1991 and based in San Gabriel, CA, is an academic support and college-preparatory center. It provides private tutoring (in person and online), SAT and ACT preparation, AP tutoring, and comprehensive college counseling. The academy also runs an after-school Homework Assistance program from late August through mid-June with one-on-one support. Additional offerings include SAT Subject Test preparation, study abroad (LIUXUE), and seasonal summer and winter programs.

Instruction is delivered by experienced teachers, many from top universities, who tailor lessons to each student’s needs. The program emphasizes strong fundamentals to support elementary achievement, middle school mastery, and readiness for college. Services are available in English and Chinese. Premier Academy periodically offers a free one-hour college counseling session for high school students and parents, available in person or via online video. Its focus is to provide a structured, stimulating environment that builds academic skills, confidence, and disciplined study habits.
