About
I try my best to really listen to what the student is saying and monitor how they are responding to the information I am giving them. I think in tutoring, it is especially important to understand where the student is coming from and take the time to listen to them. I really stand by the fact that if you simply spout out information with no real plan tailored to fit the student and their needs, then you are not really helping them.
I specifically enjoy interacting with others and trying to be of any help I can be. As a senior in highschool myself, I understand what it's like to be student. We were all there at one point. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with what the teacher is saying, but you also may feel ashamed to ask questions. This is what I hope to bring: a safe space where questions and mistakes are welcome! I have worked with many middle school students and have enjoyed the experience each and every time. I hope I get the privelage to meeting some of you :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start by getting to know a little more about the particular student I am working with and what their learning style is so I can tailor my tutoring approach to best fit their preference. I also aim to provide an interactive, comfortable learning environment and strongly emphasize asking questions. I am here to help after all! :)
