Teachers Who Tutor

Kristi Rogers and Alex Nelson have a combined classroom teaching experience of 24 years. We have taught grades ranging from Kindergarten to Freshman and Sophomore English Literature.

Our passion is helping students become confident learners and successful in all areas. Our time as classroom educators has enabled us to gain valuable skills in creating and differeniating lessons adapted to meet the needs of our students. We help students achieve their goals by providing a warm and positive learning environment, all while setting high expectations developed to their unique learning style.

Kristi Rogers earned her B.A. in Education from San Diego State University and her Specialization in History and English. She furthered her education by attending Chapman University's Credential Program. She taught Kindergarten in Santee, California, Highschool English Literature in San Diego, California, First Grade in Temecula, California and was a Third Grade Lead Teacher in Temecula, California for 12 years. She is now part owner of Teachers Who Tutor in Temecula, California.

Alex Nelson earned her dual B.S. in Mathematics and Elementary Education/Special Eduction from SUNY Geneseo. She then earned her M.S.E. in Literacy Education from SUNY Geneseo. She taught Reading Intervention for Grades 6-8 in Churchville, New York for four years, Third Grade in Pensacola, Florida for one year, and Third Grade in Temecula, California for two years. She is now part owner of Teachers Who Tutor in Temecula, California.
