About
Hello,
My name is Corinne Reid, and I am new to this site, but I am not new to teaching. I have both a Special Education and General Education Teaching Credentials as well as a Master's Degree in Special Education. My full-time job is teaching as a Specialized Academic Instructor in a middle school in the East County of San Diego. During the summer months, I teach summer school to Kindergarten and First Graders with learning disabilities. After school and on weekends, I support students in elementary and middle school by tutoring in person and online.
I have been helping families, tutoring, and teaching in the San Diego Area for more than 13 years. My specialty areas are Math, Reading and Writing (ELA). I also help parents when there is a concern about a learning disability such as Autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia.
Additionally, I have a college and a high school student that work with me to tutor other subjects. These professional students are all achieving straight A's in their advanced level programs and courses. They tutor high school and college students in Chemistry, Math, Spanish, Writing, and other subjects. Together, we make a well rounded team which supports students in nearly all areas of need.
We are passionate about helping students to develop the skills they need to succeed in school no matter what their level of education or ability they are currently at.
We are available to tutor in person and online. We look forward to supporting you or your child soon.
