About
I am Sindu, founder of Sindu's Math Tutoring. I have a Master's degree in Math and your kid gets to learn from someone who have spent 5 years studying Math in college and seven years teaching it. I struggled with Math as a kid and that helps me to understand my students better now.
Also, I think my services are pretty affordable.
I love teaching. I started when I was in Highschool and really love every impact I make in their learning curve.
I like to watch them grow confident in Math. The happiness that it brings in them. And of course, I get to work from home, being my own boss all that included.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do an initial assessment and a demo lesson to see if we are the best fit for each other. I don't charge for this.
Lessons are conducted through Zoom, video calling app, free of cost, If you can make video calls, then don't hesitate to give it a try. It is very comfortable.
I usually have the "I do, we do, you do" tutoring style. If this works for you, well and good. Or, I have several other methods that would work.
The parent is responsible for reporting the tests, Feedbacks, and Homeworks.
I assign 5 problems every day after the session (However, for Honors and AP Students, I usually let them decide as most of them are overworked)
If you have any issues, let me know. I appreciate being open minded.
I accept post payments, however, if you wish to pay before the session, I appreciate that too.
Don't reschedule the lessons often. I have other classes and it would probably mess my whole schedule. In case of emergencies, It's fine.
I report to the parent every week through email about the progress.
I have been tutoring for a long time now and have had a quite successful tutoring career however I can't always guarantee the result you expect.
