Hello, my name is Lauren and I have a Bachelor's in Psychology from UCLA with a double minor in Applied Developmental Psychology and Gender Studies. I have taken courses in Early Childhood Care and Education as well.
I have the most experience providing the following services, but please reach out if you're interested in something else!
-enrichment and/or early intervention for 0-5 year olds (Let me know what your concerns are, I have experience with physical disabilities, cognitive/learning disabilities, speech delays, ASD, ADD/ADHD, etc)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We can start with a phone call to discuss what type of tutoring or other service you are looking for, location, availability, etc.
In most cases I will ask for some materials prior to our first session such as essay prompts and first drafts, copies of homework assignments, etc. In some cases, especially if you are interested in long term services, I will also ask to have one short session with the student and/or parents to discuss expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education: BA in psychology from UCLA, with double minor in applied development psychology and gender studies
Employment history:
-most recent position: developmental therapist for special needs infants and toddlers
-multiple years of experience as: daycare/preschool child care assistant, tutor, homework helper, nanny, babysitter
-some experience or also trained as: Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) interventionist, early childhood classroom lead teacher, assistant soccer coach

AGES: I've worked with children as young as three months and students as old as 20 years.
