About
I graduated from Chapman University with a degree in Chemistry in 2015. There are three upper level Chemistry classes from my undergraduate studies that speak to my abilities; Analytical Chemistry II, Inorganic Chemistry, and Environmental Geochemistry. All three courses are quant heavy with strong emphasis on equation-based problem solving.
While in college I tutored both high-school and college level students in math focuses ranging from pre-calculus to Calc 3
From a career perspective, my current position at S&P Global in Account Management in the Commercial Banks requires strong quatitative skills. My role is client facing, supporting a book of business with a total contract value of over $5mm. I meet regularly with a wide range of finance and business minded clients. This includes treasury, finance, and credit focused analysts. I also work closely with those in various bank departments such as those in regulatory reporting, business development, and lending as well C-Suite level employees. I am often asked data related questions from clients seeking solutions within S&P Global’ s product offerings. I work to identify use cases and provide intelligent insight into data ingestion. This includes helping the client create dynamic financial models, supplementing the client’s internal financial data needs for applications such as peer benchmarking, regulatory reporting and analysis, credit risk assessment, and M&A due diligence.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is imperative that the tutor and the student are on the same page. Personality is key. I often find that tutors who do not adapt to their students needs and personalities can do more harm then good.
Be sure to set up an introduction with any prospective tutor to set expectations and ensure a smooth tutoring experiance.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

2) What specicifcally are you stuggling with? Verbiage Concepts? Specific subjects? Teachers expectations? Course Load?
3) How do you learn best? Are you a visual learner? Are you more hands on?
