What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Having taught at the collegiate level at MNSU, I know what it takes for students to succeed. I like to get to know the student firstly, understand their trouble areas, and seek out a solution that works best for them.

How did you get started teaching?
I grew up in a teaching environment, since my mother was an English teacher and later worked in the Department of Education. I gained a knack for teaching while getting my Bachelors at James Madison University, continued teaching in Los Angeles at Speiser/Sturges Acting Studio, and now teaching acting at MNSU.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students of different backgrounds, identities, and ability levels.

Encouraging students to audition for school plays and instilling a love of acting and language.
