The first tutor that I wrote to responded to my request. The whole process was very easy. She answered all my questions and set up a time to talk the same day. Great service !!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1️⃣ Initial Consultation
We begin with a brief conversation with the parent/guardian to understand the student’s needs, goals, strengths, and areas for growth. This helps us determine the best tutoring approach and schedule.
2️⃣ Student Assessment & Review
When appropriate, we review academic data such as schoolwork, assessments, or teacher feedback to better understand where the student is academically.

Based on the information gathered, we create a customized learning plan tailored to the student’s needs, learning style, and academic goals.
4️⃣ Tutoring Sessions Begin
Tutoring sessions are engaging, supportive, and structured. We focus on building skills, confidence, and independence while reinforcing classroom learning.
5️⃣ Ongoing Progress Monitoring
We regularly monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure continued growth and success.

Payment is required in advance for all tutoring sessions.
Rates are shared during the initial consultation to ensure families fully understand the pricing before services begin.
How did you get started teaching?
We got started teaching because we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a way that builds both academic skills and confidence. Our journey began in classrooms and educational settings where we worked closely with students across a range of grade levels and learning needs.
Through this experience, we saw how personalized, one-on-one support could make a meaningful difference especially for students who needed extra guidance, encouragement, or a different instructional approach. That belief led to the creation of Ready To Strive Tutoring.
Today, we continue that mission by partnering with families to provide thoughtful, engaging instruction that supports students academically while helping them grow as confident, independent learners. Our goal is to create a positive learning experience where every student feels supported and empowered to succeed.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with a wide range of students across multiple grade levels and learning needs. This includes students who:
- Need support with foundational skills and academic confidence
- Are working to reinforce grade-level concepts
- Benefit from individualized instruction and a structured learning environment
- Learn at different paces or have unique learning needs
- Are seeking enrichment, remediation, or ongoing academic support
- Are preparing for assessments, projects, or transitions between grade levels
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One experience we are especially fond of is having the opportunity to tutor a student with learning needs from elementary school through their senior year of high school. Being part of this student’s academic journey over so many years was incredibly meaningful.
Through consistent, personalized support and close collaboration with the family, we helped the student navigate academic challenges, increasing expectations, and key transitions along the way. Watching their growth in confidence, independence, and self-advocacy was just as impactful as their academic progress.
We are proud to share that the student successfully graduated high school with a GPA higher than 3.5, demonstrating what is possible when students receive the right support over time.
