Orion Moreno

I've been a math tutor and student at Santa Barbara City College over the past couple years. In my time working alongside the students there, I have developed techniques to suit individuals across all levels of math, delving into a large variety of topics at any degree of detail. It doesn't matter how fundamental we get, what is important to me is that the student is able to walk away with a better understanding of what they are currently struggling with and also of math in general. As such, I take extra care to understand what styles of teaching best enable each individual's learning while emphasizing the topics that I find to be the most troubling and the most important. Having completed the math series at SBCC and a large portion of the computer science courses, I have since been accepted to transfer to UCLA in pursuit of a BS in Data Theory. I hope to continue honing my skills to learn and teach, and look forward to any work that comes my way!
