What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student shares with me what they are working on, or a sample problem, and I explain to them how to solve it or walk them through the process of solving it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in math and have been teaching for over 20 years.

How did you get started teaching?
While I was in college, I was able to practice teaching at a nearby high school and soon after I graduated, I went to work in Puerto Rico, where I learned Spanish. Since then, I have taught in Florida, Utah, and California.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of students, including students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, dyscalculia, students that needed to relearn fundamental concepts, students that learn better by doing, etc.
