About
I adopt the First Principles ideology created by Aristotle. What this means for the student I tutor is that I have a determined and focused mission, digging to the root of the problem. I believe that my passion, understanding, and personable demeanor make me a great tutor.
Like a painting has many strokes which come together to form an image, a problem can have many steps from which a solution is formed. Math is art.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session includes going over the cirriculum and probing the stuent's knowledge and learning more about the student's learning style. As this process is for my benefit as well as the student's, this sort of "consultation" is not charged. I want to understand the student as much as I can to help in the most effective and efficient way possible. My mission starts with helping catch a student up to speed, and then shifts to helping the student foster a sense of confidence in their ability to learn and teach themselves.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Business & Engineering. My degree had very extensive maths, physics, and chemistry. I have experience with:
Calculus
Statistics
Linear Algebra & Algebra
Chemistry
Finance
Corporate Finance/Financial & Managerial Accounting
Thermodynamics
Fluid Dynamics
Technical Communication/Public Speaking
As for the matter of tutoring, I've been tutoring those around me in my life for a while now and I have reviewed methodologies, techniques, and principles that go into the makings of a tutor through Elite Tutor Services.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing model is $5 flat plus $3 for every 15 minutes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students ranging from collegiate to primary shcool.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Regarding academic needs specifically, I encourage students to look through the source material carefully and fully. I also recommend looking at youtube videos or websites available that teach the subject matter at hand. If these three methods don't work, I would bring it up to the teacher.
