Ms. Daniella Tutors
About
With over three years of experience tutoring through FOG Readers and Volunteer Tutoring SF, I have worked closely with students to build academic skills, confidence, and a love for learning. In addition to tutoring, I work in Extended Care at St. Stephen’s School, where I support children in a structured and nurturing environment. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of how students learn, grow, and thrive when given the right support.
What I love most about my work is helping students who are struggling realize their own potential. I am especially passionate about working with children who learn differently, as I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to my approach. Growing up with learning differences has shaped my patience, empathy, and commitment to creating a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks.
My tutoring stands out because I focus on individualized strategies tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs. I use clear, step-by-step instruction, multisensory learning techniques, and positive reinforcement to help students build skills and confidence. I believe success is not just about academic improvement, but also about helping students feel capable, motivated, and supported every step of the way.
