I graduated from San Jose State in Spring 2019, with a B.S. in Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am currently a law student at the University of San Francisco. I have taken a multitude of math and science classes ranging from Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Statistics, Calculus I, Calculus II, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and Physiology-- and have done well in all of them. I have been tutoring since January 2017, most of my students have been high school students in mainly Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, and Biology. I mainly tutored in the tri-valley area including Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin, and have now moved my business to San Francisco along with my studies!
I mostly enjoy seeing my students succeed. I genuinely have a good time with my students and feel that I have done my job when they finally understand that concept, or get the grade that they are shooting for. I played sports in high school and have continued in college as well, and understand the rigor and hardships that come with being a student with other responsibilities such as sports, and am very flexible with my students, and it makes it easy for us to connect because I relate to them on more than one level.
my daughter is very pleased with the work she does with Kira.
Related to high school students, knows how to teach in specific ways for specific students, covers multiple subjects
She takes time out of her busy and successful life to help her students. She has a true gift of smarts and is very efficient and accurate in her teaching. She created a planner of how I needed to prep for the SAT and we followed the schedule every time we met and she was always ready with the plan for the day. She helped me understand geometry, Spanish, and other subjects like the ones on the SAT. I’m so grateful for all her help!!
She is very helpful and on task. I got what I wanted done and I understood better the material we were going over. She gives good studying tips and is always able to work around my schedule .
