About
3+ years of experience helping students excel in classes, ace APs and score higher on SATs. We help to isolate the highest potential areas of growth for each student to make the best use possible of our tutoring time. This strategy has enabled high schoolers to improve from Bs to As, earn 150+ points on the SAT and given them the confidence to get 4s and 5s on their APs.
I am currently studing Economics and Mathematics at Northeastern University, but am in SF for an internship opportunity so I am bringing my tutoring services here as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In our first meeting I will talk to the student to assess their goals and level of motivation. I will bring some sample questions (or have them share things they are working on) and have them explain their thought process to me as we go through. From this first meeting I will then generate a plan to help the student meet their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost finished earning my Mathematics and Economics undergraduate degrees, so I am very familiar with breaking down concepts in these fields. I have 5 years of tutoring experience, including SAT tutoring, AP tutoring, and college tutoring.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My first lesson is $20/hour. If it goes well the following lessons are $30/hour. These rates are negotiable and subject to change based on transportation costs/time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school and college students. The goals of these students ranged from passing a class, to those that were getting As but wanted to learn more advanced material.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
