Through positive reinforcement, hands on learning, educational tools and skills that will help them reach their full potential and provide them with the confidence to succeed no matter what.
Throughout my career I have been credited with the successful creation and implementation of After School Programs, homework help clubs for elementary school, tutoring and mentoring services. I have planned and organized youth prevention, extended learning programs, Individual and Group Counseling and private & group tutoring with expertise in therapeutic interventions that promote positive individual and group participation. I am Described as authentic and approachable. I pride myself on consistent student evaluations to assess and monitor progress from start to end of school year and strong communication with the parents by building trusting relationships with the entire family
I enjoy the ability to work with students that don’t think they can do it and having that ability to show them they can. I love that I get to show students how great they are by assessing the reasons why they are struggling & unlocking that missing piece that keeps them from moving forward getting to bottom then encouraging them to Keep going and that they can do it. (Whatever the challenge is all kids can overcome it I truly believe it )
Its so inspiring and motivating to see change and knowing I had a part in helping them find that missing piece that can literally change their entire life is truly amazing and is the reason I get up in The morning , I just want all kids to understand how awesome they are and that they have the ability to do anything they want .

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Intro and assessment at first session, meet n greet. I find out what the parents believe the struggles are and then what the student believes they are. We create a rewards program and complete a short assessment Of current skill level and to identify the individual learning style. After the first session, the student will receive s notebook and pen and/or pencil. The notebook is so to they can write any questions they have from school to review next session.
My pronart focus on each session is the individual needs of the student and helping them specifically to their learning style. we will review what the homework is for class and work on it together and then do a fun activity as it relates to the subject we are working on. then will earn points each week toward a prize of the student choice(which has been discussed with the parents prior) I will write notes on progress and report to parents daily or weekly based on the parents preference. 24/7 text support for student and parents plus free 1 15min face to face progress review weekly or biweekly.

How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to do more than just be part of society. I wanted to change the way children see themselves and show them how awesome they are. I struggled all through school and never had that feeling I could do this or that I was capable and I don’t want any one to feel like that so by teaching I get to show kids how amazing they are !!
