About
My background lies in successfully implementing strategic and easy skills for understanding subjects such as calculus and algebra, that have been previously dismissed as being too hard. I have taught STEM subjects on a personal tutor level in many online sites such as Zoom and Google Classrooms. Additionally, I am an expert of the C language and succeeded in developing the legendary snake Xenzia apk fully on C. I encourage most of my students to learn C as a basis for learning any other more recent languages, such as Python. I have an electrical engineering degree with profeciency in calculus i to calculus IV, along with Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations. I currently hold a Honors Calculs (Cont.) and Linear Algebra from the University of Pennsylvania.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I have to understand their expected learning outcomes before each tutoring session. As this progression continues, I aim to break the ice such that they are better placed to explain to me their difficulties in the subject. My teaching approach is a basic and easy plan that follows up with each difficulty expressed and moves beyond these to facilitate an overally fun and educative experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a honorary calculus (cont.) degree and a Linear Algebra Course qualification from the University of Pennsylvania.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The price point is set based on a prior negotiation with all my students, depending on their learning needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a very weak student during most of my starting years, and I hated everything to do with math. I had my first tutor in grade 6, and he taught me the beauty of learning math, and that is how I became interested in sharing my knowledge. I, therefore, do not want to put my first experience teaching to be on a work experience basis, but rather on tutoring a fellow student back in high school. Since then, I have never looked back in my aim to become better in learning math every other day!
What types of students have you worked with?
I do not like to classify my students in terms of their grades, just because I believe that each math students is extremely excellent, just that they do not believe in their potential. I, would however, say, that I have worked with students with different attitudes, both positive and negative. I am proud that after every session, their love for math only seems to grow.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am an old soul, and I have always loved to draw portraits. I am pushing that away a bit, and trying to learn the piano over the past few weeks, and I must say, its one of the hardest things I have attempted in a while. But giving up is never a choice, right?
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to be open minded and try and find a teacher that will be flexible to fit to their needs and demands. Calculus and algebra is not hard, but sometimes, the teachers we are exposed to, make learning extremely difficult for us. Remember who you were before you became stressed with mathematical differentiations, integrations and the like, and find someone who will restore that peace, yet still equip you with the necessary knowledge.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I normally ask my students to find out what they expect as their learning outcomes. They should ask themselves why they want this knowledge and how they aim to use it. If you have a purpose, then you always have a reason for working harder.
