Academic Impact
About
Founded in 2008 by Jesuit High School alumni, Academic Impact provides personalized tutoring for students of all ages, guidance for college planning and admissions ("college counseling"), and consulting for medical school and residency admissions.
We offer tutoring in all levels of Math, Science, English, History, Language, Theology, and other subjects. We also offer tutoring for standardized tests, including the High School Placement Test (HSPT), SAT, and ACT.
We assist many students with time-management, organization, and focus to improve study-skills.
Academic Impact maintains high standards for tutors and emphasizes mentoring and role modeling in addition to tutoring.
With several of our team members schooled in the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person, Academic Impact approaches tutoring, counseling, and mentoring from a Jesuit, Ignatian perspective with an emphasis on cura personalis (care for the entire person).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Academic Impact utilizes a network of tutors who assist students in all grade levels, including AP and honors courses.
