Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know them first. Be aware of their weaknesses and strengths, and incorporate them into a lesson that would benefit them most.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are cheap and unique, priced at only $10 per lesson. Don't be scared of scams, because I promise to you that every payment is genuine.
How did you get started teaching?
I'm just an A* student trying to make money, and I have two other tutoring jobs. This is my first online tutoring job.
What types of students have you worked with?
In real life, I also teach two tutoring jobs, both of which presented a myriad of distinct students. I have worked with ADD/ADHD students, autistic students, mentally disabled students and younger students as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have landed the first book deal of my novel, Spring Bloom. It is a tale about societal pressures and the need to be perfect all the time, and I am so grateful my voice could have a chance to be heard.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Open your boundaries. Tutor them like you are tutoring a younger you, regardless of who they are and how different they might be.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Nothing! Good teachers would never judge you for your basic needs, and learning what you're comfortable with is a way to communicate effectively.
