Northbay Math Tutoring - Teresa Romero

My name is Teresa Romero and I provide math tutoring, teaching, and test preparation in my quiet Sebastopol office, by appointment.

My qualifications include:

* a supportive and kind manner,

* successful with elementary school through graduate school students,

* ability to tailor explanations to each student's unique learning style,

* success teaching and tutoring integrated and common core math,

* bachelor's degree in math,

* current CA teaching credential in math,

* 20+ years combined classroom teaching and tutoring experience,

* success with students with math anxiety, disabilities, and other challenges,

* & success with independent study and homeschooled students.

Some students and their families call me a "math whisperer" because my gentle individualized instruction has helped very frustrated and challenged students become successful.

Homeschool families will often ask me to become a student's math teacher. In these situations I often provide instruction, assign homework, and grade student work, if needed.
