About
I am a chemical engineering major at UC Davis and I have been tutoring people in math since I was in 9th grade. I have a very successful track record and am very patient and understanding when it comes to every individual's learning style and current skills in a subject. I really enjoy tutoring because of how satisfying it is to truly help someone understand a subject that they may have previously hated and/or struggled with. As long as my students are willing to put in the work I am always willing to go the extra mile for them. As far as my own math grades I passed adv. algebra 2 with an A before I even started high school and I finished Calculus 3 my senior year with the highest grade in my class, 102%. I am a very committed, passionate, and understanding tutor and I look forward to helping my students achieve their academic goals!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really want to access their current skills at first and see what specifically they are struggling with and how confident they feel with the course.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge around $15-20/hr, although I am willing to travel I will need to charge more depending on distance. This can all be discussed and is determined on a case by case basis.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring classmates when I was in 9th grade I was taking pre-calculus when most of my peers were starting geometry so I was always someone my peers asked for help. Through this experience I realized how much I enjoy helping people gain confidence with math and improve their grades, and I have been doing it ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with just about every type of student from the high-achieving honor student to students who approach me because they are failing or on the edge of failing, and I have successful sessions with all types.
