Victoria's Private Tutoring

I began my official tutoring job at Sierra College as an English/ writing tutor. I helped my peers review and organize their essays and made sure it was written in the correct MLA format. After a year of tutoring at Sierra College Tutor Center, I began tutoring kids privately in their homes. I have tutored 1st grade- 8th grade Language Arts levels. I still tutor children privately and I am now hired as an online English teacher for Qkids. I teach international students how to speak English. I am in the process of receiving my TEFL certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I have an Associate's Degree in business and I will have an Associate's Degree in Psychology by the end of 2019.

I enjoy helping kids accomplish their educational goals because I want to support them having a successful future. I love learning new things and teaching others what I have learned. I think education is the most powerful tool a person can obtain because it opens many opportunities and possibilities in their lives. Education is an essential resource because it allows people to understand the complex world in a much clearer perspective.
