About

When students comprehend difficult concepts and are able to accept the 'next level challenge', that is a golden moment for me.

My students don't have to 'remember' stuff, they understand, they comprehend, they internalize.

What they learn, becomes a part of their knowlege / information system and hence stays with them for ever.

You forget things you 'try' to remember. Things you understand, you don't have to remember. As simple as that.

And that's the approach I subscribe to. That's the tecnique that always works.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention. My tutoring experience dates back to 1980 when I had just finished my Degree In Engineering and was offered the position of a Professor rightaway.

Eversince, the passion has stayed dominant while transitioning through different careers embracing electronics, telecommunications, computers hardware and software arenas.

If no one else has been able to drive home a concept, they had to look no further after they became my students.

Frequently asked questions

I start with assessing the current level, weekenesses and strengths of any new student who enlists my services.

Most importantly I examine a student's approach towards studies - whether it's based on memorizing or comprehension. Those belonging to the 'memorizing' category, need a lot initial grooming up.

My approach of transitioning from 'simple' to 'complex'; from 'known' to 'unknown' has always proved very rewarding.

Engineering Degree plus some 40 plus years of tutoring experience.

No standard pricing. Alot depends on - number of hours per session, number of total hours per week, number of students (in case of a group), and how long is the commute.

The day I graduated from my engineering college, I was offered a teaching position  which I accepted. But I had been tutoring even during my high-school days. Since then I hav enever stopped tutoring.

All kinds - very slow to very talented. Have tutored students with learning disabilities, or other special need children (like DHH - deaf and hard of hearing).

Not sure what I am expected to share here.

Ask for a sample teaching session and see how comfortable you are with the teaching style.

Having identified some area of deficiency, have the tutor explain the concepts involved.
