I cater my teaching to the students needs and abilities. I believe that every student learns differently, some are visual learners, some learn with practice, etc. I give students a proactive learning environment where they're encouraged to explain their reasoning and demonstrate their understanding on the topic we discuss.
I enjoy seeing the progress students make after our sessions. Seeing them improve their learning and critical thinking after initially struggling motivates me to continue helping.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have an orientation session with my students, where I can get to know them, learn what they enjoy, and learn what areas in math they struggle in and excel in. I give example problems to assess the level of their knowledge, problem-solving skills and critical thinking. This helps me come up with lesson plans to cater towards their needs and help them improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6+ years of tutoring experience, ranging from elementary to college level students. I have my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, obtained in Dec 2022.
